In addition to making cinema and television documentaries, we work closely with NGOs, charities and organisations, helping them tell their stories and creating powerful, impactful and empathetic films, from feature-length documentaries to 60-second social media shorts. These may be films which look at some of the most urgent social, political and environmental issues of today, or may raise awareness for a good cause, or promote a performance or the values and practices of an organisation, or deliver a narrative to engage and motivate the viewer over social media and digital formats.
Please see below for examples of some films we have made for good causes, from Tik Tok to feature doc.

EVERY CHILD MATTERS
This is one of the viral social media shorts we made for the charity AfriKids and their Every Child Matters campaign- this one highlighting the heart-warming story of Narcissus and his Mum. These shorts, plus a feature length documentary we made about the charity, raised £250,000 for AfriKids, far more than the original budget, and helped bring Idris and Sabrina Elba on board for the charity as fund-raisers. We now have a long-running collaboration with charities in Ghana, funded by Gower Street Trust. The full-length film we made, How To Make A Difference in Africa, won a prestigious Smiley Award for charity films. The clip got tens of thousands of views and engagements and helped sell out the shows. Made pro bono to support the organisation and created in square format for social media use. PLAYING SHAKESPEARE WITH SHAKESPEARE'S GLOBE
This was a social media short made pro bono for Shakespeare's Globe Theatre which mounts a full-scale, highly accessible production specifically tailored for secondary schools, offering free tickets to thousands of children in inner city schools - many of whom have never been to the theatre before. The film is being used to raise awareness for the theatre's pioneering work with young people and to inform schools, teachers, parents and pupils of the power and potential of Shakespeare in young lives. |
A PREDATOR IS BORN: NESTBOX LIVE
Nestbox Live is a conservation and wildlife organisation which creates artificial nestboxes for birds of prey and educates people about these endangered species. While they had a huge presence on Facebook, their YouTube vides averaged a few thousand hits. We collaborated with them to create a 20 minute natural history documentary from their extraordinary footage, following the fortunes of a kestrel breeding couple. The film has broken 200,000 views in less than two weeks and continues to climb. You can see it in full here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Bo1Gi4j_xc WATERLOO UNCOVERED

This 10 minute documetary became part of their promotional work, raising funds and awareness for the charity. Above is a clip, following disabled veteran Anna. The film was self-funded and made pro bono to promote the aims and philosophy of Waterloo Uncovered charity. RICHMOND AND HIS MUM
